Creating a unique TEFL brand

A London-based language school contacted me to create a new brand for a college offering qualifications in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). For six months I worked in-house on the branding, marketing and student recruitment programmes.

Working alongside a small agency called The Design Conspiracy, we created a brand identity and set of guidelines. The aim was to make the brand young, fresh and inspirational. 

 

Prospectus

The majority of applicants for TEFL courses are recently qualified graduates, who use the qualification to teach abroad. To target them, we launched the brand with a 32-page prospectus featuring the strapline, 'Go teach the world'. TeflLab was immediately inundated with applications and had to double the number of courses it was running.
